Tasmin Little

Tasmin Little

Tasmin has become a firm favourite with Grayshott Concert audiences, since her first visit in March 2011.  On that occasion she had been booked to play Beethoven’s violin concerto, but plans changed.  Grayshott Concerts were invited instead to host the mighty and rarely performed Beethoven Triple Concerto, together with pianist Howard Shelley and cellist Sebastian Comberti.  It was a tight squeeze on stage, but the full orchestra plus a grand piano were accommodated.

In 2012, Tasmin brought her programme “The Naked Violin” to a Friends Evening, a solo performance, and in 2013, her programme “A Violin for all Seasons”.  This programme included Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons”, and a new work written for Tasmin by Roxanna Panufnik “Four World Seasons”.  www.tasminlittle.net
