Programme Highlights

Each year, the Friends of Grayshott Concerts enjoy a very special musical gathering, and this year's event promises to be an unforgettable highlight. Our Patron, Howard Shelley OBE, one of Britain's most distinguished pianists and conductors, will join members of the London Mozart Players for an evening of music, conversation and celebration.

Howard Shelley's remarkable international career spans more than five decades, with acclaimed appearances at the BBC Proms, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Sydney Opera House, and major venues across Europe, Asia and Australia. Renowned for over 180 recordings, many award-winning, he is especially admired for his close partnership with the LMP, with whom he has recorded complete concerto cycles by Mozart, Hummel, Spohr and others.

The programme for this year's Friends' Evening will include two of the best loved piano quintets:

Schumann Piano Quintet in E flat

Dvorak Piano Quintet No 2 in A Major

This promises to be a very special evening with the traditional wine and refreshments for everyone during the interval.
